Vocal & Instrumental Promoters Organization (V.I.P.)
The VIP Organization at the Nora Springs Center for the purpose of providing support and funding for miscellaneous projects and activities of the music department. You are a member of VIP by virtue of having an elementary or middle school student in the music programs at this attendance location. A continuing service of the VIP parents has been providing partial-payment scholarships to students attending music camps such as Dorian Camp at Luther College, Meistersingers Camp at Wartburg College, and various honor bands and choirs. Some of those registration fees can be prohibitive for many families. Other VIP funded projects have included the purchase of a state-of-the-art sound systems for the music room and concerts, headset microphones that have been used in recent musicals, purchase of a portion of the new Central Springs choir robes, marching band lyres for Middle School, and refreshments for contests and special events. We also support special needs the music department may have that are outside of regular budget parameters. |
